This is a fantastic encyclopaedia and multimedia resource for students of all ages. The award winning trusted content is updated daily and information is presented for different age and learning levels. Britannica Online is faster, easier, and more efficient. A more user-friendly interface provides better organized and richer results. This includes interactive learning, images, videos and other great features such as country comparisons. This is available free of charge from home using your library card and also from within Napier or Taradale library.

Using the app in and outside the library
If you are using a tablet within the library, the tablet needs to be connected using the library's wifi. If the program can connect and find the library account, you will then be able to use the program with the same login account or by anonymous access. If you use a tablet outside the library, you can login using your email address PROVIDED you have already registered it using your tablet inside the library or your desktop browser from home.

AnyQuestions.co.nz is a free online reference service for all New Zealand school students. The team of friendly librarians from around New Zealand are specially trained to work with students to find the answers they need. The service is open Monday to Friday 1–6pm and is available for anyone with an internet enabled device - computer, tablet or smart phone.
