COVID-19 Alert Level 2 Update
COVID-19 Level 2 restrictions are in place from midday Wednesday, 12 August.
Napier Libraries are open to the public under Alert Level 2. Safety for our community and teams is paramount and we will be following strict guidelines as set out by the government.
Key points when visiting are:
- Please use the QR tracer app when entering the libraries or ensure you have your library card ready, to ensure a simple sign-in process.
- Reserve a book, we’ll notify you when this is ready for you to collect.
- Utilise our ‘Spydus Mobile’ app so you can issue your books without even going to the self-service machine.
- If you have been ill during the past couple of weeks, keep your items at home. No hurry to return these, there will be no late fees.
- There will be no Lego or children's puzzles while in Level 2.
- No Baby Bounce, Story Times, Ezy Tech, Ezy Search sessions due to social distancing.
- Winter Warmer's report ins can still be done in the library with social distancing protocols in place, but you can also do report ins online under the Children's tab on this website.
- No Justice of the Peace services while in level 2.
