Napier Libraries are pleased to provide an online eBook and Audio Book delivery service via the OverDrive platform. OverDrive is a digital media platform where you can download titles and transfer them to portable devices such as iPads, iPhones, MP3 players, smartphones and eReaders. Napier Libraries joined a consortia of 15 lower North Island Libraries, to be known as ePukapuka, in 2011 to provide digital access 24/7. Users love the digital service as many books can be downloaded onto one compact device, font size can be adjusted, big heavy novels can be read on a lightweight eReader, access is available 24/7 and overdue charges are not an issue as books disappear when the loan period expires.
Please note that Amazon Kindle eReaders are not compatible with this platform unless using a Kindle Fire/Tablet.
