October Holiday Programme: Finding your Way
'Math is Fun' is a free programme that aims to encourage children to have fun with numbers, increase confidence in maths, and understand how maths is used in everyday life outside of school. This is done through interactive games and activities.
The sessions (which are being run at Taradale Library) are led by trained educators and teachers and are suitable for primary and intermediate age children. Registrations are essential and can be made by coming into the Taradale Library from 24 September 9.30am.
This programme is being run on the following dates during the October school holidays:
Level 1 (Year 1 & 2)
Monday 1 October & Tuesday 2 October: 10am – 12.30pm
Level 2 (Year 3 & 4)
Monday 1 October & Tuesday 2 October: 1.30pm – 4.00pm
Level 3 (Year 4 & 6)
Wednesday 3 October & Thursday 4 October: 10.00am – 12.30pm
Level 4 (Year 7 & 8)
Wednesday 3 October & Thursday 4 October: 1.30pm – 4.00pm
